News and Trail Conditions Current NewsLast April we were shocked to hear that our President, Adam, and our Secretary, his wife Elaine, had decided to move back to NJ. Adam was offered his dream job and just couldn't refuse. He left NH on April 30th. Elaine will be joining him before the end of May. Needless to say, we were stunned. Not only were we losing 2 friends, we needed to find some new club officers, and quickly! The new President will be Doug Shearer (who stepped in from the VP position), Keith Kopp as Vice-President, Joyce Ball as Secretary (veteran of 14 years as a club officer), and Lori Shearer as Treasurer. We wish Adam and Elaine all the best as they transition back to NJ. They will both be missed as valuable, hard working club members and friends. They promise to come up and help us on some projects and we'll hold them to that! Below is a message Adam had left before he knew he was relocating. Thought it summed up our year well. Good luck Adam and Elaine! Adam-President 07/08 Thanks to everyone for their hard work and dedication. We had a great season and more snow in Lancaster then anyone has seen in a long time. Having two groomers has paid off with over 500 hours between both machines. A special thanks to Mike for his countless hours of dedicated work. We would also like to thank the groomer operators-Adam, Doug, Keith, Sammy, Shane, and Dave. Thanks to Brian and Norm for all their hard work back at the clubhouse. We have already started making a priority list of projects for this summer and next fall. Anyone interested in helping should look at the website for details. Next Snow Drifters Meeting: Our clean up day was postponed due to weather. Our next club meeting will be a Board of Directors/Officers meeting in June with time and date to be announced. Trail Conditions UPDATED ON: Hope next year will be another great season. Thank you for respecting all land owners and staying on the trail system.
